Tricotage Organic Cotton Clothing was founded in the spring of 2010 by Danish designer duo Karin Bjørneboe and Ida Anesdatter Schmidt, two passionate souls with a desire to create collections of beautiful basics that are easy to wear and made from sustainable materials. All products are controlled by Control Union, which guarantees that all the cotton used is 100% organic and processed in as ecologically friendly a manner as possible.

Karin Bjørneboe and Ida Anesdatter Schmidt are both graduates of the Danish Design School of Copenhagen. Karin Bjørneboe has previously been working as a fashion designer. Ida Anesdatter Schmidt has worked as an interior accessory designer and created a number of independent art projects and exhibits.
